In continuation to Macmillan’s long standing commitment of skilling learners Macmillan Education India in partnership with the Directorate of Education (DOE), Delhi implemented the Spoken English Program for students of the government schools. This programme addresses the need to develop English-speaking proficiency and communicative competence for upward social mobility. We will reach out to 6,000 plus secondary students and transact a 120-hour spoken English course, spread over 35 days.

 In our 180th year to show our strong commitment to serving our local communities, Macmillan Education India employees, including the Managing Director, Mr. Rajesh Pasari taught students in schools. Members of Macmillan India team, like Anisha Chettri, Himanshi Wadhwa, Mridula Srivastava Somanjan Bandyopadhyay,  Suruchi Sharan, Manoj Gupta & Yogesh Kumar amongst others also visited various government schools across Delhi to interact with the students. Students enjoyed the lively conversations, interactive games, and engaging exercises designed to enhance spoken English proficiency. 

 Mr Pasari visited one of the schools to interact with the students, and also met the Director of Delhi’s Directorate of Education (DOE).  He expressed enthusiasm and said, “ By collaborating with DOE, we aim to empower students with the tools they need to communicate effectively and confidently. Through this initiative, we hope to make a positive impact on their lives and open doors to brighter futures.”
