This one of a kind competition organised in association Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), encourage young learners to apply scientific acumen to real life challenges and find solutions to them. The award recognizes meritorious students of classes 6-8 The evaluation for the award involve two rounds,
Round 1- a preliminary online screening round, where participating teams submitted a 3-minute video explaining the novelty and application of their working model/experiment/idea. The award categories included,
- Environmental Science (e.g. solutions for water/air purification, noise pollution)
- Biological sciences (e. g. treatment of injuries, diseases, vaccinations)
- Physical sciences (e. g. improving efficiency of machines/tools)
- Chemical sciences (e.g. identifying adulterants)

Many of these skills can be taught by using the scientific method but at Silver Oaks School these skills are best taught through hands-on activities and experiments.
